Another Great Blend

Sometimes you add something sweet to your salad. When I make a normal salad I like to add some dried fruits like, raisins or cranberries. I also like to add things like blueberries, strawberries or grapes.

So why not do this with a blended salad. Especially if you don’t care too much about a slight bitter flavour of the greens.

Try out the following and use it as a base to make your own favorite:

 

  • 1 Garlic clove
  • ½ Avocado
  • large handful of greens (red or green lettuce, Romaine, spinach or kale)
  • 1 or 2 pc Medjool date (pitted)
  • small amount of fresh Parsley leaves (depending on how strong you like it. Start slow)
  • 1/8 tsp Sea salt
  • Juice of ½ lemon (or more to taste)

Stirred in after blending:

  • 1 Tb Olive oil (optional)
