Lovely Fresh Greens

The “Fresh” part of this smoothie is the fact that it has raw, fresh rhubarb in the recipe. A flavour I really enjoy. You may want to start with a lesser amount, just to make sure.

Depending on the blender you have, slice the rhubarb in 1/2 inch pieces so you don’t have to fight with stringy particles.

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • ½ cup fresh rhubarb stalks cut in ½ inch pieces
  • 1-2 dates or figs (optional)
  • ¼ avocado
  • 1-2 cups spinach
  • Water

Put all the ingredients in the blender until smooth. Enjoy
